Better the boring RTHK news than the Cantonese radio show that almost all Hong Kong cabbies have on around 9am - the one with jokes being told in slow, pseudo-idiot tones, followed by a gaggle of women cackling shrilly like harpies. That sends shivers down my spine. My wife will one day laugh at me like that when she divorces me and takes all my money.

Another potentially mundane day at work has now started with a hearty chuckle. Cheers Hemlock.

Da Docta - that's what I like about RTHK!

I am amazed you still listen to RTHK 3 (or God help you 4) when there are thousand of free radio stations on the Internet. It isn't even hospital radio, which has at least local and relevant charm, it's a kind of copy fossilised version of 1960s British radio. A totally alienating experience and an absolute waste of money.
